Four incredible wedding locations in Italy

Last Modified: November 28, 2022

Have you ever dreamt of getting married in Italy? If not, today you might change your mind because I’m going to list four super beautiful Italian wedding locations where you can say yes to your better half.

Portofino

Portofino is an extremely beautiful town in Liguria, located right in front of the sea.

One of the best wedding locations near Portofino is Abbazia di Cervara.

Standing on a cliff, this Abbey offers a spectacular view. It was built in 1361 and is an Italian national monument.

Abbazia di Cervara has many gardens but the most beautiful one is definitely the Italian garden, Giardino all’italiana, that directly faces the sea.

This is the perfect wedding location for you if you like elegance, history and beautiful views.

Como

Como is very famous in Italy and abroad. Many stars have decided to buy or rent a house here to spend their holidays. And for a good reason. Como is very very beautiful. So, it’s the perfect location for your Italian wedding.

One of the many villas you can choose from for your wedding near Como is Villa Sola Cabiati.

This Villa was built in the 17th century in a Neoclassical style. It stands directly on the shores of Lake Como and the interiors have many frescos and canvas.

Also, the villa is surrounded by a big garden. This villa is the perfect choice if you want to feel like a member of the Italian aristocracy while getting married.

Positano

If you want to get married near Positano, you can have a look at Villa Treville. This villa is, of course, standing on a cliff overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Villa Treville is composed of four different villas: Villa Azzurra, Villa Bianca, Villa Rosa e Villa Tre Pini, each one composed of different suites. The Villas are surrounded by beautiful gardens with pine trees and bougainvillea and also offer a spa service.

Ravello

If you want to get married in the South of Italy, Villa Cimbrone in Ravello (not far from Amalfi) can be a good choice.

Villa Cimbrone was built in the 11th century and was completely renovated in the 18th century. Today it’s a luxury hotel and one of the most booked locations of you want to have a fairytale wedding.

It stands on a steep cliff with a beautiful garden and a terrace facing the sea, called Terrazza dell’Infinito (Terrace of the Infinity). Can you imagine getting married there?

If this isn’t enough, remember that Villa Cimbrone has even a Michelin starred restaurant!

Are you ready to book your next flight to Italy?

Did these four Italian wedding locations make you wish to marry in Italy?
