Insomma può essere usata per riassumere o concludere qualcosa che hai appena detto.

Insomma can be used to summarize or a conclude something that you’ve just said.

b. Rideva a ogni sua battuta e non riusciva a togliergli gli occhi di dosso, insomma si capiva che era innamorata di lui

c. Il balcone era rotto, c’erano crepe dappertutto e buchi nel tetto, insomma la casa cadeva a pezzi

Insomma può essere usata come esclamazione per esprimere impazienza.

Insomma può essere usata in italiano per rispondere a una domanda quando si vuole dire che qualcosa non è né buono né cattivo.

Insomma can be used in Italian to answer a question when you want to say that something is neither good nor bad.
