1. CLIMBING AT FAMILY SAN MARTINO
Climbing can be a very family friendly activity, especially in Trentino.
Family San Martino is a climbing crag located in Arco, in Trentino Alto Adige, very close to the famous crag Policromuro Massone. Family San Martino has been prepared specifically for families and children and offers 17 rutes from 3a to 6b.
Routes from 3a to 4b are dedicated to the animals of the Ice Age. Routes from 4c to 6b, instead, are dedicated to the adventures of Harry Potter.
At the top of the crag there’s also a terrace where you can enjoy the sun or, in alternative, you can take a path that will lead you to the First World War trenches – Trincee di Vastrè.
2. PIETRA VIVA MUSEUM
The museum Pietra Viva was opened by the Pallaoro twins in Stefani, in Trentino, so that everyone, especially children, could discover the mineral world.
There’s a section dedicated to the exhibition of minerals, rocks and metals. The best part of the exhibition is the “geode”, the reconstruction of a rock cavity covered in crystals.
The museum offers also practical workshops where children can work with minerals.
